Randy and Leanne Moore (son of the Bristol Motor Speedway co-founder Carl Moore), developed Thunder Valley Campground seven years ago. In 1999 this premier NASCAR camping facility was among the first to bring full hookups to the area, Thunder Valley is now host to over 640 campers averaging close to 3000 people annually.
